Philadelphia’s American Swedish Historical Museum, right, has a group of volunteers that puts on a fun and delicious julbord (Swedish Christmas table) every year. This year's julbord was November 30 but there are several other similar event all over Swedish America - see Christmas in Swedish America 2018 - we'll be at Boston's Yuletide on Dec. 8, several events in NYC and will also try to join the museum in Philadelphia for the Museum Tour and Glögg Tasting on Dec. 27 ...

Volunteers are what make most events possible. That’s true for a lot of places, and wherever you end up enjoying a Swedish Christmas or are shopping for the holidays, be it a lodge, church, SWEA or community market, bear in mind the many volunteers that make it possible for everyone else.
