A consortium of Swedish companies have created a smart grid for 155 families in an effort to test if behavior about in-the-moment electricity use can alter people’s energy consumption.

Part of the Stockholm Royal Seaport Smart Energy City project, the consortium hopes to gain a better understanding of how people interact with technology and how that can inform businesses to create better products and solutions for environmental sustainability.
