Like many other Swedish 2-year-olds, H.R.H. Princess Estelle started preschool on August 25. Her parents, T.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, walked hand-in-hand with her as they arrived at Äventyret, one of Stockholm's specialty preschools, just outside the city, in Djursholm.

Äventyret (which is Swedish for "adventure") focuses on giving children experiences in nature, an important part of the royal family's values. Princess Estelle will enjoy outdoor adventures there and get a gender neutral learning experience that promotes sustainable development, with educated teachers and small groups of children. Estelle seemed cheerful about her first day at school, where she met new children as well as some familiar friends.
