Swedish taxes no longer highest
Sweden no longer has the highest taxes in the world. New statistics show that Denmark, Belgium, and France are countries that now have higher taxes. At their highest, the Swedish taxes were about 50% of the gross domestic product. Now they’ve fallen to under 45%, which means a reduction of several hundred million Swedish crown (one million SEK equals about $153,000). If this trend continues, then Sweden will be at a European Union average (40%) within six to seven years.
