Malmö—home of Eurovision 2013
Since Swedish singer Loreen won the Eurovision Song Contest in Azerbaijan, Sweden will host next year’s Eurovision Song Contest. And now it has been decided where that will take place: at the arena in Malmö on May 14-18, 2013.

Says Martin Österdahl, executive producer for the arrangement: “That we chose Malmö has to do with the great infrastructure there and that we have good experiences with Melodifestivalen (the Swedish music competition in which the country’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest is being determined), and also of experiences of Eurovision Song Contests in that city.”
