The richest Swedes have managed to protect their riches from the recent stock exchange turbulences. In case you were worried. The 2008 financial crisis decreased the Swedish billionaire gang’s wealth with 20% and from being a group of 136 they went to a group of “only” 98 billionaires. This time around, the wealthiest of the wealthy managed to protect themselves better.

In 2011, only three were kicked out of the billionaire’s group. And who’s in the absolute top? Why, Ingvar Kamprad of Ikea of course, followed by Stefan Persson of HM and Hans Rausing of Tetra Laval. The biggest loser is Gerald Engström, founder of Systemair. He lost 36% of his money between 2010 and 2011.
