In August 24,368 new cars were registered according to Bil Sweden (an organization for manufacturers and importers of cars, buses, and trucks). It’s an 8.9% increase since August last year.

A total of 201,031 new cars have been registered this year, which is an 11.2% increase since the same period last year.

And leading the wave is Volvo V70 II, with 13,872 registrations, compared with 16,420 last year. The second most popular new car is the Volkswagen Passat with 9,558 registrations (last year 8,573) and on third place the Volkswagen Golf with 8,923 registrations (last year 8,929).
