A belt that looks like a measurement tape! Who needs that? Well, someone at the Swedish clothing chain Lindex thought it was a great idea. But the belt, which was made for children, has upset a number of parents who have posted pictures of it on Facebook. Now, Lindex has decided to remove the belt from their collection.

“We agree that the design of the belt may be viewed as problematic and we do not at all encourage children to measure themselves. We will immediately remove the belt from all the stores where it is sold,” the company writes on their Facebook page. The decision has received many comments, positive as well as negative, on the page. This is not the first time Lindex is getting criticism for their children’s clothes. They have been criticized before for selling bikini tops for little girls, and also for selling clothes that are tighter for girls than they are for boys.
