Sweden is celebrating the 14 medals – 7 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze – and all their athletes who were in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. (Norway took home 39 medals, breaking the United States' record of 37 in 2010; this year the U.S. got 23 medals. The host country won 17.)

Charlotte Kalla won the first gold medal of the games for her cross-country ski sprint and a silver medal in the 10K women’s cross-country skiing event. Stina Nilsson won gold in the 1.5 km sprint and a bronze medal in the 30 km. The women’s cross-country team took silver in the sprint and 4x5 km relay. The women’s curling team took gold; the men’s curling team took silver.

In the biathlon, Sweden’s men’s team took gold in the relay, and Sebastian Samuelsson took silver in the men’s biathlon pursuit; the women’s team took silver in the relay and Hanna Oberg won the gold medal in the women’s 15km biathlon. Both the alpine slalom events were won by Swedes: Andre Myrer and Frida Hansdotter won gold medals in their categories.
