Elfsborg won its six consecutive match to remain on top of the Allsvenskan.

Elfsborg keeps winning
SÖDERTÄLJE – The race for the 2012 Allsvenskan crown may not be much of a race, at least if Elfsborg keeps playing the way it has for the first two months of the season.
Elfsborg (6-0-1, 18 pts) ran its winning streak to six straight after demolishing Syrianska (1-1-5, 4 pts) 4-1 May 2 at the Södertälje Football Arena. Stefan Ishizaki had a pair of goals while David Elm scored in his first appearance of the season and Jon Jönsson picked up his first goal of the season.
The story of the game was Ishizaki, who is undergoing a renaissance season. Once tipped as the next great Swedish midfielder, Ishizaki never quite lived up to that billing. He started the season as a substitute but his play in the first couple of games quickly earned him a spot in the starting eleven and he hasn’t looked back.
Ishizaki put Elfsborg on top after 13 minutes with his fourth goal of the season, and he set up Elm in the 28th minute for a 2-0 lead. Ishizaki and Elfsborg showed no let up in the second half, as the midfielder put the Boras side up 3-0 after 58 minutes. Jönsson made the score 4-0 at the 66-minute mark.
Elfsborg appeared set to breeze to a shutout victory when Dinko Felic spoiled the party with an injury-time tally.

Häcken moves into second place
ÅTVIDABERG – BK Häcken continued its impressive form, winning for the third time in four matches to move into second place in the standings. Häcken (4-1-2, 13 pts) defeated Åtvidaberg (3-0-4, 9 pts) 3-0 May 2 at Kopparvallen. The loss was the fourth in a row for ÅFF, which started the season at 3-0.
Rene Makondele had a goal and assist for Häcken, raising his total to five goals this season. Teammate Waris Majeed also scored his fifth goal of the season in the win. Andreas Drugge scored his second goal of the season for Häcken. Makondele also has three assists to lead the Allsvenskan in total points with eight.

Örebro remains winless
STOCKHOLM – Djurgården made sure Örebro stayed winless with a 2-1 win over the hapless side May 2 at Stockholm Stadium. The Örebro players held a closed-door meeting before the match, looking spark a side that on paper should at least be a middle-of-the-table team. Örebro went into the match 0-3-4 good for just three points, and for much of the first half, it looked like the meeting worked.
Valdet Rama scored in the 37th minute to give Örebro a 1-0 lead. It didn’t last long. James Keene tied the game two minutes into the second half. The goal was his third of the season. Örebro continued to press but in the 53rd minute, its game plan fell apart when Mohammed Khalid Saeid picked up a pair of bookable offenses and received a red card.
Djurgården (2-2-3, 8 pts) took advantage within five minutes when Christer Youssef fired the home side in front. DIF used its man advantage to sit on the lead for the final 28 minutes.

Norrköping 2, Gefle 0
GÄVLE – Norrköping used a pair of first-half goals to cruise past Gefle 2-0 May 3 at Strömvallen. Christopher Nyman and Martin Smedberg put Peking (4-1-2, 13 pts) on top. The win was the second in a row for Norrköping while Gelfe (1-2-4, 5 pts) lost for the second match in a row at home.

Mjällby 2, Malmö 2
SÖLVESBORG - Erton Fejzullahu scored a pair of second-half goals to help Mjällby rally for a 2-2 draw with Malmö May 3 at Strandvallen. Jimmy Durmaz and Jiloan Hamad tallied in the first 20 minutes to give Malmö (3-2-2, 11 pts) a 2-0 lead. It was the third match in a row in which the Malmö duo scored. Fejzullahu brought Mjällby (2-4-1, 10 pts) back when he struck in the 59th minute. He tied the game at the 83-minute mark. Pär Ericsson set up both Mjällby goals.

Kalmar 2, GAIS 2
KALMAR - Abiola Dauda continued his torrid scoring pace, notching a brace of goals as Kalmar played to a 2-2 draw May 3 with GAIS at Guldfågeln Arena. Dauda, in his first Allsvenskan season, scored twice in a six-minute span to give Kalmar (2-2-3, 8 pts) a 2-1 lead. Dauda now has five goals in four games. Wanderson do Carmo put GAIS in front after 16 minutes. Jakob Olsson tied the match one minute into second-half stoppage time.

Helsingborg 0, AIK 0
HELSINGBORG – AIK remained unbeaten after a scoreless draw with Helsingborg May 2 at Olympia Stadium. AIK (3-4-0, 13 pts) failed to score for the first time this season. The draw was the fourth of the season for Helsingborg (2-4-1).
