HELSINGBORG—The league leaders kept chugging along, beating Örebro 2-0 Aug. 24 at Olympia Stadium to run their unbeaten streak to 17 straight. Hannu Patronen put HIF on top when he scored at the 71-minute mark. May Mahlangu made the score 2-0 when struck in the 86th minute.

Malmö 2, Elfsborg 1
MALMÖ—Elfsborg dropped out of second following its 2-1 loss Aug. 28 to Malmö at Swedbank Arena. Wilton Figueiredo put MFF on top after 32 minutes. Lasse Nilsson tied the score at the 53-minute mark. Figueiredo put MFF back in front for good in the 68th minute with his second goal of the match.

AIK 1, Syrianska 0
SOLNA—Robert Åhman Persson struck in injury time to lift AIK to a 1-0 win over Syrianska Aug. 28 at Råsunda Stadium. Persson scored in the 91st minute of the match. With the win, coupled with an Elfsborg loss, AIK moved into second place in the standings.

GAIS 3, Mjällby 0
GÖTEBORG—Mervan Celik scored twice to lead GAIS to a 3-0 win over Mjällby Aug. 28 at Gamla Ullevi Stadium. Wanderson do Carmo scored the opening goal of the game 97 second into the match. Celik scored his first goal seven minutes and added his second at the 75-minute mark.

IFK Norrköping 2, Djurgården 1
NORRKÖPING—Gunnar Heidar Thorvaldsson scored twice to lead Norrköping to a 2-1 win over Djurgarden Aug. 25 at Nya Parken. Thorvaldsson put Peking up 2-0 after he scored in the sixth and 11th minutes. Christer Youssef pulled a goal back for DIF at the 17-minute mark.

Halmstad 1, Trelleborg 0
TRELLEBORG—Halmstad won for just the fourth time this season, beating Trelleborg 1-0 Aug. 27 at Vångavallen. Joel Johansson scored the lone goal of the game in the 76th minute off a pass from Christian Järdler.

Gefle 2, BK Häcken 2
GÄVLE—Daniel Bernhardsson scored one minute from time to allow Gefle to salvage a 1-1 draw with Hacken Aug. 28 at Strömvallen. René Makondele Muzola put BKH in front after 27 minutes. Mikael Dahlberg tied it when he scored two minutes later. Mathias Ranegie put Häcken back in front in the 73rd minute. Bernhardsson grabbed the equalizer for Gefle in the 89th minute.

Kalmar 0, Göteborg 0
KALMAR—Goalkeepers Erit Bershiba of Kalmar and Erik Dahlin of Göteborg shared the shut out honors as their sides battled to a scoreless draw Aug. 27 at Guldfageln Arena. Kalmar played the final four minutes of the match a man down after Henrik Rydström picked up his second yellow card of the game.
