Helsingborg 2, IFK Göteborg 1
HELSINGBORG – May Mahlangu scored a spectacular goal in the 75th minute to lead Helsingborg to a 2-1 win over IFK Göteborg July 31 at Olympia Stadium. The South African international midfielder took possession of the ball at the mid stripe then sped down field. He turned around a pair of defenders before faking Göteborg defender Kalle Svensson and firing a shot from just inside the penalty area that beat Erik Dahlin. Tobias Hysén scored an injury time goal for Göteborg.

Elfsborg 1, AIK 0
SOLNA – Elfsborg found a way to shut down the high-flying Bangura tandem and made an early goal standup as it beat AIK 1-0 July 31 at Råsunda Stadium. Lars Nilsson scored four minutes into the game to put Elfsborg in front. The Borås side then swarmed all over Ibrahim and Mohamed Bangura and shut both down. It was only the second time this season that neither scored or had an assist in an Allsvenskan match. Elfsborg remained in second place with the win while AIK stayed in third but fell seven points behind Helsingborg.

GAIS 2, Halmstad 1
GÖTEBORG – Mervan Celik scored twice to lead fourth-place GAIS to a 2-1 win over Halmstad Aug. 1 at Gamla Ullevi Stadium. The Swedish Under-21 international scored in the 14th and 83rd minutes. Celik now has 10 goals this season. Michael Görlitz gave HBK a short-lived lead when he tallied in the fifth minute.

BK Häcken 4, Syrianska 0
GÖTEBORG – Mattias Ranegie notched his 15th goal of the season while John Chibuike scored twice for the second-straight match to lead fifth-place Häcken to a 4-0 pounding of Syrianska July 31 at Rambergsvallen. Ranegie scored the opening goal of the match, moving him into a tie for the league lead in scoring with AIK striker Ibrahim Teteh Bangura. Chibuike scored the next two goals and assisted on the final tally by Jonas Henricksson.

Mjällby 3, Kalmar 0
KALMAR – Mjällby scored three times in a five-minute span to knock off Kalmar 3-0 Aug. 1 at Guldfågeln arena. David Löfquist scored on a penalty kick in the 84th minute break open a scoreless match. Patrick Osiako tallied three minutes later while Pär Eriksson added the third in the 88th minute.

Örebro 1, Gefle 0
GÄVLE – Örebro won its second-consecutive match, sliding past Gefle 1-0 July 31 at Stromvallen. Paulo De Oliveira scored in the 28th minute off a pass from Samuel Wowoah to give ÖSK the win. The loss was the fourth-straight for Gefle.

IFK Norrköping 2, Trelleborg 1
NORRKÖPING - Shpetim Hasani notched his third goal of the season to lift Norrköping to a 2-1 win over Trelleborg July 30 at Nya Parken. Astrit Ajdarevic put Peking in the lead in the 16th minute. Kristian Haynes tied the game for Trelleborg at the 44-minute mark. Hasani struck in the 79th minute.

Malmö, Djurgården
MALMÖ – Fan violence forced officials to abandon the July 31 match between Malmö and Djurgården at Swedbank Arena. Malmö held a 1-0 lead off a goal by Dardan Rexhepi when officials ordered both teams from the field.
