Kalmar 1, Helsingborg 0
KALMAR – Daniel Mendes scored the fastest goal in Allsvenskan history to lead Kalmar to a 1-0 win over Helsingborg May 16 at Fredriksskans. Mendes scored 06.4 seconds of the match off the opening kick off. Just 26 minutes later, the little Brazilian got into a tussle with Helsingborg midfielder Ardian Gashi and received a red card when he punched the Norwegian in the face. Despite the 63-minute mad advantage, HIF was unable to pierce the Kalmar defense.

Mjällby 4, Malmo 2
MJÄLLBY – Mostapha El Kabir scored twice as Majallby raced out to a 3-0 lead then held on for a 4-2 win May 15 over Malmö at Strandvallen. El Kabir scored at the 11- and 22-minute marks. David Löfquist made it 3-0 a minute before the interval. Malmö mounted its comeback early in the second half on goals from Daniel Larsson and Pontus Jansson. Daniel Nicklasson restored the two-goal cushion for Mjällby when he tallied just before full time.

AIK 4, Åtvidaberg 1
SOLNA – Miran Burgic proved AIK isn’t quite dead as he struck for a hat trick to lead the defending league champions to a 4-1 win over Åtvidaberg May 17 at Rasunda Stadium. Burgic scored in the 4th, 15th, and 90th minutes. Kevin Walker scored the fourth just 18 seconds later. Paulus Roiha scored for Åtvidaberg. The victory moved AIK out of the basement.

Örebro 2, Trelleborg 0
ÖREBRO – Two first-half goals propelled Örebro into third place in the standings. Roni Porokara and Samuel Wowoah scored 11 minutes apart to lead Örebro to a 2-0 win May 17 at Behrn Arena over last-place Trelleborg. The victory was the third in the last five matches for Örebro.

Elfsborg 2, GAIS 0
GÖTEBORG – Elfsborg remained in the top four on the table thanks to a 2-0 win May 16 over GAIS at Gamla Ullevi Stadium. Emir Bajrami scored in the 19th minute to stake Elfsborg to a 1-0 lead. Denni Avdic upped his league-leading goals tally to 12 when he scored at the 39-minute mark.

Halmstad 2, Djurgården 0
HALMSTAD – A crowd of slightly more 4,000 turned out to see Halmstad beat Djurgården 2-0 May 15 at Örjans vall. Brazilian striker Anselmo scored both goals for HBK, which picked up its fifth win of the season.

Brommapojkarna 2, Häcken 1
BROMMA – Manchester City transfer John Guidetti scored his second goal of the seson to lead Brommapojkarna to a 2-1 win over Häcken May 15 at Grimsta IP. Guidetti scored in the 14th minute but left the match in the 59th minute when he picked up an ankle injury. Mathias Ranégie tied the game for Häcken in the 74th minute but Olof Guterstam tallied five minutes later to give Bromma the win.
