It took five rounds, but Stockholm finally has a victory in the 2010 Allsvenskan.
Defending league champions AIK and cross-town rivals Djurgården went into fifth round of the season winless, much to the surprise of fans, media experts and coaches around the league. The two Stockholm sides were second- and third-from-the-bottom in the standings and also had all sorts of problems with scoring. DIF scored just twice in its first four games while AIK had just one goal in the same span.
Djurgården finally broke out, however, as three players found the net April 10 in DIF’s 3-0 win over Trelleborg at Stockholm Stadium. The victory not only pulled Djurgården out of the cellar, it gave Stockholm its first victory of the 2010 season.
While DIF celebrated its win, Helsingborg celebrated moving into first place in the standings thanks to a 2-1 win over Elfsborg while BK Häcken played to its second consecutive scoreless draw, this time with Åtvidaberg.
The 16-team Allsvenskan played Round 5 from April 10-14.

Helsingborg 2, Elfsborg 1
HELSINGBORG – Markus Holgersson snapped a 1-1 deadlock with his first goal of the season as he helped lead Helsingborg to a 2-1 win over Elfsborg. Holgersson scored in the 67th minute. The victory moved HIF into first place in the standings. Ardian Gashi gave Helsingborg an early lea with his first goal of the season. Denni Avdic tied the game for Elfsborg with his fourth tally of the year.

Malmö 3, Kalmar 2
KALMAR – Malmö mounted a second-half rally to claim a 3-2 win over Kalmar. Wilton Figueiredo had a goal and an assist in the final 45 minutes to lead Malmö to the victory. Figueiredo tied the game in the 53rd minute with his first goal of the season. The Brazilian then set up Markus Halsti for the game-winner five minutes later. Edward Ofere also scored for Malmö. Abiola Douda and Tobias Eriksson scored first-half goals for Kalmar.

Djurgården 3, Trelleborg 0
STOCKHOLM – Djurgården claimed its first and first multiple-goal game April 10 when it beat Trelleborg 3-0 at Stockholm Stadium. Johan Oremo, Prince ikpe Ekong and Sharbel Touma all scored for DIF.

GAIS 2, Örebro 0
ÖREBRO – Wanderson do Carmo had a goal and assist to lead GAIS to a 2-0 win over Örebro. The Brazilian scored at the 37-minute mark and set up Aram Khalili for a last-second goal.

Gefle 1, AIK 0
GÄVLE – Gefle kept defending champion AIK winless through five games, scoring a 1-0 victory April 11 at Strömvallen. Alexander Gerndt scored his fifth goal of season to lead Gefle to the win. Gerndt struck in the 15th minute.

IFK Göteborg 1, Brommapojkarna 1
GÖTEBORG – Presumptive title contenders IFK Göteborg sank toward the bottom of the standings after a 1-1 draw with Brommapojkarna. Par Eriksson fired IFK into the lead after seven minutes, but the Blavit could not sustain the momentum from the goal. Amad Chhaleh struck the equalizer in the 37th minute and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
