Blue glass bowl for Princess Estelle
A blue glass bowl is what Princess Estelle received as a christening gift from all of Sweden's county governors. The bowl is made at Reijmyre Glasbruk in Östergötland (Princess Estelle is Duchess of the province of Östergötland). It is designed by Margareta Hennix, with cornflowers (the provincial flower of Östergötland) and the princess’ full name engraved on it: Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary as well as the date of the christening. Norrbotten’s county governor Per-Ola Eriksson will offer the gift, since he’s been on his post the longest of all county governors.
