Wanted in Hollywood – Lena Endre!
American director Paul Thomas Anderson (he’s the man behind films like “Boogie Nights”, “Magnolia” and “There Will Be Blood”) is putting together en ensemble for a new film to be shot this summer. The actors involved so far are Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix. But who will be the leading lady?

Anderson is interested in Madisen Beaty, Amy Adams, Laura Dern and Swedish actress Lena Endre (last seen in the Swedish Millenium films), who at the moment is visiting the Cannes film festival. Says Lena Endre herself about the news: “Who doesn’t want to work with him (Anderson)?” But if it will actually happen, remains to be seen. Anderson will commence shooting on June 13. The project is still untitled (it was once referred to as “The Master”), but seems to center on a man who returns after witnessing the horrors of World War II, and tries to rediscover who he is in post-war America. He creates a belief system, something that catches on with other lost souls.

Endre is not entirely new to Hollywood. Husband Richard Hobert's 2002 film "Everybody Loves Alice" which featured Endre alongside Mikael Persbrandt and Marie Göranzon won Best European Feature Award at the 2002 Hollywood film festival.
