Swedish Royals are popular in Germany.
A visit to Germany for Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel has been set for the end of May. The couple will start by visiting Munich, where they will learn more about the collaboration between Swedish and German businesses.

Germany is a country where the Royal Swedish House is extremely popular—because of the Swedish Queen's German heritage many Germans almost view it as their own. Says Johan T. Lindwall, Expressen’s royal court reporter: “When there are royal Swedish birthdays, such as the King’s, they show that on German TV.”

Victoria and Daniel will also visit Berlin, where they will meet with German President Christian Wulff and Klaus Wowereit, the mayor of Berlin. There are also other visits planned in Germany, to places with historic interest.
