This year’s SACC E-days took place at Clarion Hotel Sign Stockholm on September 15 and 16. This E-day event was a special milestone since SACC USA celebrated its 20th anniversary, and E-days itself was organized for the 10th year.
As hundreds of Swedish and American companies and their representatives gathered at Hotel Clarion, business connections and networking were the topics for the two days, and a great deal of focus was put on the highly interesting and important field of clean technology. An impressive list of speakers and panel members made this a very interesting two day event, with opening remarks given by Viveka Wahlstedt, Chairman of the Board of SACC-USA and Ambassador Michael M. Wood, Embassy of the United States, Sweden.
Over the past ten years, E-days has grown from a small one day event to a major event in the arena of cross Atlantic trade.
“E-days has developed beyond the initial expectations we had for this trans-Atlantic business event," says Kent Berg, founder of E-days. "The interest for the event has grown to a level where SACC is constantly being approached by different cities to host the event. Our goal is to create a 'one stop shop' for Swedish and American entrepreneurs so they can - through matchmaking - get contacts with potential partners for introduction of their products, and with business angles for financing their expansion."
The customary gala dinner was held at the Nordic Museum. The setting was perfect for the celebration of SACC's 20 years and 10 successful years for E-days.
The next E-days will take place in Savannah, Georgia. Make sure to secure your booth and attendees early.
