'Racist chocolate' gets a make-over
Finnish candy giant Fazer changes the look of its classic "Kiina" or "Kina" (the word for China in Finnish and Swedish) candies (previously known as “Kinapuffar”) after Helsingborgs Dagblad’s journalist Patrik Lundberg complained and called the image on the package “racist”.

At the moment, the image on the candy package is that of a yellow-faced Asian with slanted eyes wearing a red rice hat. The “Kiina” candy – chocolate covered wheat puffs – was introduced by Fazer in 1961.
