New Scandinavian restaurant in San Francisco
Swedish born Roberth Sundell has opened his first restaurant at the Inn at the Opera on Fulton Street. The restaurant, named Pläj, offers a taste of Scandinavia through a menu of Hagen (‘Field’ for salad), Fjord (for fish and seafood), Beta ( ‘Graze’ for meat and chicken) and Godis (‘Candy’ for desserts). Sundell, with experience from a variety of first class establishments both in the U.S., in England and Sweden comes highly qualified for this new venture. He was ‘discovered’ by the Scandinavian community as he prepared the 2011 Christmas dinner for the Scandinavian School in San Francisco. We’ll bring you more info next week.
