Kashmir tea
Stockholm-based web designer Jonas Melcherson went on a trip around the world, and among the things he brought back is this recipe from a journey to Kashmir.
Liquid honey
1½ Tablespoons almonds, crushed
2 pinches of saffron
1 cinnamon stick
4 cardamom kernels
1 tealeaf
Put everything except the almonds and honey in a pot and bring to a boil, lower the heat and let simmer for 5 minutes. Divide the crushed almonds into four cups or tall glasses, pour in the tea and add honey to taste. Try to find as dark and rich honey as possible. The honey in Kashmir looks like dark syrup.
