Fashion’s Night Out, September 8, in Midtown, Swedish shirt brand Eton serves up refreshments and sweets from local Swedish candy store Sockerbit with its fall/winter shirt collection. DJ and surprise prizes for the lucky ones throughout the evening (6-10 p.m. at the store on Madison Ave. bet. 58 and 59 Streets). Downtown, Swedish designer, the multi-talented Efva Attling opens her store in the Meatpacking district between 6 pm-11 pm. 36 Little West 12 St., New York NY.

As is usually the case and although catwalks will be paraded by several Nordic models New York Fashion Week won’t showcase many Swedish or even Scandinavian designers. Swedish brand Odd Molly will be there, as will Finnish Ivana Helsinki and Norwegian NY based Elise Øverland.
