The Nordic Heritage Museum is moving into its new space, which opens in May, 2018. The newly branded Nordic Museum is, however, already making international lists for being exceptional: Architectural Digest included it on its list of the “15 Most Noteworthy Museum Openings Worldwide;” the New York Times features it among “52 Places to go in 2018;” and Artnet (the leading online resource for the international art market and the destination to buy, sell and research art online) posted its Complete Guide to the Biggest, Baddest, Boldest Museum Openings in 2018, listing the new Nordic Museum at #3 on its list of eight international museum openings.

The museum will move into the new, modern 57,000-square-foot cultural center in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood this spring, with special events and its grand opening set for May 5, 2018.
