Music by Sweden, weather by California indeed! Judging from the line-up, location, weather and likely crowd, history will be made on October 15 in California when the first ever all-Swedish music festival outside Sweden takes place in downtown LA. Named after the Swedish capital, Stockholm, CA features an impressive program of Swedish artists, Swedish food, drinks and several displays of art — making it the biggest Swedish cultural event in the U.S. this year.
An amazing line-up of exclusively Swedish artists will perform: Icona Pop, Little Dragon, Veronica Maggio, Rebecca & Fiona, Otto Knows, Salvatore Ganacci, Nause, AronChupa, Elliphant, and Mapei. And of course there will be plenty of Swedish food, drinks, activities, brands and art to enjoy. Many other Swedish artists and people from the entertainment and cultural industry will be there as well.

Swedish culture has never been more prominent on the global market, and with more than 4.5 million people in America being Swedish descendants (of which 500,000 live in California), the Swedish and American cultures are now more interconnected than ever before. Stockholm, CA is one of many cultural expressions spawned from this relationship.
