Blondie wants to work with Avicii
According to interviews with Swedish media the American rock band Blondie (founded and fronted by singer Deborah Harry in 1974), would be interested in working with Swedish DJ, remixer and record producer Tim ”Avicii” Bergling. "He makes great songs,” Harry says. "We haven’t contacted him yet, but we would love to work with him. I love Abba, and I have heard that Benny Andersson is a producer—it would be great to work with him also.” Deborah Harry of Blondie will be the first female performer to accept the NME Godlike Genius Award at the end of February as the band is being honored at the annual show in the UK. She is 68 years old, and she still lives in New York where the band premiered the punk rock scene forty years ago.
