The Nordic Folk Musik duo The Blue and The Blonde - Vidar peforms at the 2013 Scandinavian Festival at New Jersey Vasa Park.
The Blue and The Blond consists of Jutta Rahmel, from Finland, who played kantele and sang vocals, and Vidar Skrede, from Norway, who played hardingfele, fiddle, and guitar and sang vocals. Both are musicians known in the Nordic folk music scene, each performing on their respective countries' national instruments-kantele from Finland and hardingfele from Norway. They played music from Nordic traditions, such as Finnish rekilaulu and Norwegian ballads, as well as original works.
