The popular Swedish pop group Gyllene Tider, known for their catchy choruses and lightweight lyrics about summer, teenage love and life in a small town, is planning a comeback.
Per Gessle (singer in the group and also of course one part of the duo Roxette) confirmed the rumor of a comeback tour this summer and a new record. “It’s always a puzzle to make everything fit, but yes, there will be a tour.” The tour includes 18 shows, however places and dates have not yet been set, and won’t be presented until next week.
If they're unknown to you, you find the (almost) official page of the band here; http://www.gyllenetider.com/ which should give you a clear idea of the poplar group.
Roxette, Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson were on their most recent world tour, visiting the U.S. in the fall of 2012. Don't expect Gyllene Tider to tour the U.S. anytime soon though. (Useful? trivia: The group was founded by Gessle in 1977 albeit under the name "Grape Rock")
